Hi all ca anyone assist me?

i have just been upgrading my PMR but in the process bust it f@@k.

So as you can guess I'm not pleased thought about throwing it at a wall now

My problem is both the leads have broken on the connector on the board which connects to the battery

Has any one got any ideas is it a new battery connector and lead up me or how do i fix it?

HELP please

you could get a new battery lead and join it to the existing wires, or do a more professional job and replace the whole lead.

you have two options. if it has broke next to the board where your plugs are its new battery harness. if it has broken on the battery connectot then it is new battery harness :p. there not hard to fit but if you need anyhelp then pm me. to get the new part you need ring ash at dye europe and he should be able to send it to you. if you could take a picture or explain exactly what you was trying to do to upgrade then i might be able to help even more :D

I broke the wires to my PMR when i first brought it when I was putting on my UL Frame, so I decided to take the wires out and sent my PMR back to Dye, anywho when it came back they had put some new wires in and everything was working fine. So if you have only just got ur PMR, do wat i done and send it back 9/10 they'll replace the wires with no questions asked :D

^^ I haven't read the above so sorry if i contradicted some1 ^^

ask for ash chaplen or a tech and they will send you one out if its underwarranty which it should be. Its a design fault with pmr's the battery wires are quite fragile like all wires but you have to go through there to seperate frame from body, change modes, set dwell, take off asa. pretty much everything but they are great guns(i have one :D). What you will receive will involve you taking your trigger switch out aswell which can be tricky. if you want i can do it as you are not far from me. once you have the part that is lol

As everyone has said contact DYE and I think you'll find they'll look after you, and in future when removing the plugs try a pair of sturdy tweezers or a tiny screwdriver to gently prise the plug out without stressing the wires. Even the best techs (and me) sometimes have to give in to the urge to give the wires a hearty yank but it often leads to tragedy:eek:

Thanks again guys its the last time I will change an asa well maybe not we all know what it is like with our guns always upgrading them.

Well I brought my gun off a guy in London second hand so dont know when he brought it if it is under warrenty so on so on.

But I think I will try Tony at Fatbobs on Thursday if not I will get in contact with Ash. Bloodly design fault fantastic gun though I'm getting withdrawal symptoms already.
