yes i have been using the rechargeble batteries in my rotor and my dm for ages if you go to maplin they even do a proper 9.5 v battery for the gun so it runs alot smoother at the voltage that the americans use and the board is actually for ,, i have found the energiseer is better than the duracell though ,, cant remember the name of the 9.5 v from maplin but will have a look later
