Batteries in Vlocities -or other hoppers

Quick question.
is there any bonus with using a 9v connector or using AA batteries in hoppers?

the only one that i can think of is because it's lighter
i think aa last longer though might be wrong though

I vaguely remember being told you get a higher MAh with AA's

does anyone know if the speedfeeds or crowns for the vlocity fit a widemouth kit?
