Disagree bro

Not being a **** but if you look real close at the picture you'll see that the end of his barrel is touching the bunker which means the boy is pretty tight and has to lean his ass out like that to get a bit of vision. Also when you look at where he is in relation to the bunker his legs and hip are pushed right into the bunker itself and the camera is on a slight angle making him look further out than he actually is. I think the dude is pretty bloody tight to be honest and his profile is well slim, just check his forearm and elbow, it is vertical and doesn't stick out at an angle.

Smaller barrels are great up front 12-14 max but a nice 16 is sweet at the back. You get the range AND you can push your bunker in and out in front of your face with the end of it to save you moving to much of your body.

Just my tuppence chief :D

So why wasn't he?, this was used to illustrate what has been said about keeping tight and how you can move a sup-air barricade....did the articles pass this guy by? Plus think about if he changed sides to fire the other line...then he would have to do a little swerve to get that long barrel in place without showing his body as a target.

PS b4 anyone rips me for my avatar...the pic was edited so you can't see the barricade and the shooting lane I had I needed to be away from it...oh and plus I saw the photographer coming so it had to be done :D !!!

To be fair perhaps he meant "effective range" (ie accuracy)
maybe, didn't warpig or agd to tests on different lengh barrels, conclusion being they made no difference in fact longer barrel giving less range and accuracy. Think about your barrel, its stepped bore so the lengh aint going to guide the paintball as its fatter then a paintball.

Length of barrel cannot have any effect on range either increasing or decreasing it. If the muzzle velocity is 300fps it will always go the same distance (on average) regardless of length

Like I said "Ye canna change the laws of physics"

BTW Even stepped bores are still in contact with the round... they just don't squash it as much!

Hey Manike, I'm sure you're about. Feel free to jump in with bench-test statistics :)

Yip I know that, I even meant/implied that when I first posted god knows what I was thinking when I said about reducing distance...

rubs foot really must stop shooting that!
