Anything between 12" and 16" is generally the norm. Front players use shorters barrels back players use long ones. There are hundreds of threads on this subject, so just do a search on barrel length or sumthing like that...

10-12" i smostly used for mobility, 12" is optimal for front players

14"-16" would improve accuracy because the length of the barrel guides the ball in the same direction for some point after it leaves the barrel. however, more air is needed to push the ball through the barrel also the ball can hit bounce through the barrel while traveling

i recommend getting an internally spiraled barrel such as the empire twister.. the spiral design forces the air to flow the same way all the time that way the balls pins the same way all the time making your shot landings more predictable

i dissagree, there is a slight differance as it guides the ball that little bit more.you need 8" of unported barrel to excelerate the ball, and 4"minimum to guide it, more will help stabalise it,but also slow it down due to friction.anything above 16/18" wastes gas:D

Yup, 12 to 14, all down to personal preference 'cos the ball is coming out of the barrel at 300fps regardless, so it's not like a gun, it's easier to site down a longer barrel though.
