this is a warning to teams who are still using barrel bungs. This weekend my team had ther barrel bungs checked whilst waiting to start on the field. two of my lads had loose bungs and we took penalty points ! to me this was the first time in playing paintball that this has happened and at the time it was upseting as those points could have made a difference to the end score. The problem and the point to this post is the old stle barrel bung does not fit tightly in every barrel if you use different barrels dont look at your bung as a piece of plastic that goes in your barrel and look at it as a piece of vital safety equipment just like your mask or better still buy a barrel jonny (sock) as one size fits all!ther was a rumere that bully had bought a job lot of socks and with 1 event left he needed to get rid thats why the marshals checked and he had sold out of them buy dinnertime:D :D  just joking steve! so sort your bungs out or you may regret it one day 50 points that HURTS!but not as much as blinding someone

The barrel bung safty thing is very important, if the barrel bung does not fit properly if a PB is fired accidentily then as well as a paint ball hinting someone it could also be the bung itself which is rather harder than a PB.. There has been a number of events when barrel bungs have been checked, no bad thing in my view..

Also in the case of milleniums you can't use barrel bungs, you have to use barrel socks.
