i have a quick question, one of my barrels is scratched and looks crud, can i buy some spray paint and respray it? if i can is there anything i must and must not do?

i would not reccomend it as it may block in the porting, it also may drip through the porting and dry on the inside of the barrel and this cant be good for accuracy, i would say buy a new barrel mate if you wnat a nice shiny one.

i am no paint expert so there may be a paint that would be alright but i would never do it to my barrel

I had an old barrel that I just rubbed down and then used car spray paint, I packed the inside with paper first and just took it easy on the paint. the finish wasn't great but it looked better that it did before I started and still shot OK.
