i bought a box of paint yesterday, and the paintballs don't fit into my proto 1 piece barrel, i had some older balls that don't fit in it either, is this meant to happen?

it will happen if your balls are bigger than your barrel. what paint is it? its not uncommon for paint to be bigger than 0.689 (if thats the size of the barrel)

you'll need a couple of bore sizes . probably best to have a .692/3 as well matey that should cover you for almost everything .maybe a .695 for reall ****ty weather .

Paint can be approximately any size between .685" and .695" depending on a variety of factors, manufacturer, humidity, storage. So i would recommend you buy either a barrel kit or several barrels. The sizes that are more common in the uk are .690", .692, .695. The most common is .692".
