Just wanted to get a consensus as to which kit you lot would reconmend the Freak Kit or Pipebomb Kit?

Personaly the pipe, used one in the past and was very good and have just got my hands on a freak now but havn't used it yet.
With they pipe you don't have the inserts
but less of a choice on backs and fronts. What marker is it for?

I used both on my Ego and the Pipe performed loads better!
As Wrath said, you don't get as many inserts, but let face it, how many people actually use all of their Freak inserts? I've thrown about 3 different paints through the pipe and had about 10 barrel bursts out of around 5 boxes!
With the Freak I got a lot more, especially when I used cheaper, older paint.

I currently have both and can only truly recommend the pipe kit. The freaks ok but just not of the same quality and performance.

It wold be for an old matrix, so im i right in thinking then that the freak just has too much choice and you dont end up using half of the inserts. I heard that it damages easily, is this true? The volume isnt an issue for me cus im a backman so im stood back barking positions so im pritty loud anyway.

The pipe is a little thinner than the freak so IMO it's a little easier to break if you're very rough with it, but as long as you don't try to dig up the field with either of them you should be okay

Yes the general build of the pipe may be slightly thinner but as EyeFellOva put's it they will both break if you run into a tree.
On a day to day basis the freak is much much much easier to damage than the pipe as it has ultra thin walled inserts that slide into the rear of the barrel.
These inserts are made of maybe 1mm thick aluminium, which is very easily damaged. If you are careful, this will never happen, but you can very easily just put your gun or something down onto them and crush them. Another point to consider is that they are held in by stupid little o rings which wear and then the barrel becomes inaccurate because the insert is not sitting straight.
The pipe on the other hand uses multiple backs instead of inserts, which are obviously stronger.
Like i've said before, i'm using a pipe on my cocker and a freak on my Ion, but given the choice, i'd be using the pipe on both.

I used the Freak Set for years and upgraded to the Stainless set a while ago.
Wicked set does the job. Currently I am shooting the RedzPepperStickz and love them. Really nice and accurate!
