Barrel Fit on Marker

Right, I have a Geo and yesterday when messing about I noticed that when the barrel is screwed into the marker there is about a 5mm gap inside between the marker and barrel. Now to me this doesnt seem normal and I will be contacting Eclipse about it unless it can be sorted here.
I've pretty much only put reballs through so there has been no repercussions of this problem and I'm thinking when I start putting paint through it will start catching and getting loads of barrel bursts or thats my theory.
Is this normal? and do other people have the same problem with the Geo or other markers?

i put my dye and stiffi on the geo and i dont have a visible gap, same with the stock theirs no gap.

this gap is showing on the outside of the marker aye?

also no gap on the inside, and also i havent chopped a ball yet from using my geo

The gap is on the inside and i've tried a UL, stock, stiffi and freak and still a gap. You shouldn't chop tricky if there's no gap and i say that it MAY chop when i put paint through it. Thanks for checking tho tricky : )
