Barrel Cleaning

what would you guys recomend for in game barrel cleaning?

got an eblade cocker so hopfuly ball breaks etc wont happen that often but you never know.


also how do you carry the thing around?

I use a double ended fluffy stick on field. Usually can clean out what needs to be cleaned without having to take the barrel off....carry it folded in a pocket on my pants.

I always try and shoot through brakes if i can though

I use a Squeegee, the rubber bit goes to the side then when you release and pull it back it brings any paint with it and doesnt stuff it down to the bolt and good paint

A fluffy is the best thing to use. Most pants have a section to hold it either folded in half or extended to quickly pull out if needed. Cleans the barrel up a lot better than a straight-shot squeegee so will help accuracy.

I honestly prefer a squeegee. Fluffy sticks don't pull all the paint and crap out if you get a breech break, and TBH all you need is a general clean. Getting back to firing is the most important thing

On the field= a fluffy, because it's quick and easy, unless its a chop, and not a barrel break, because if its a chop, theirs nothing really you can do.

Off the field= One of those orange pull thro's (not a straight shot) with a cloth on the end, then a nice clean fluffy thro it will sort most things out (dont use a fluffy on a carbon fibre barrel tho)

fluffy stick or as it's called a swab, most pants have swab prockets in and even if they don't the fluffys aren't that big.

Because you have an Eblade...you could if need be, turn off your hopper...try and shoot through teh remaining balls...then whip teh bolt out and bung a pull through right down it...I have an orange rubber one, that teh two ends fix together so you can wear it around your neck etc...you might need to add a bit of string to it to make it a touch longer.

Fluffy works, or a full on straight shot jobbie as described, but I find them too long for a pocket and I hate having them dangling around my neck, or behind me.

So...

Turn off hopper
Shoot remaining balls (that way when you take bolt out, paint dont start flying out everywhere)
Whip out bolt (were at about8 seconds now)
Pull through through
Bolt in hopper on
Mow fools
