Ive never seen the use of a new barrel?

Is there really a difference?

Invert Mini stock barrel or 32 Degress Night Stick (14")

The night stick i can get for £12 is that good?

Is their better for cheaper?

Any on this site??

Thanks very much

There is a huge difference between stock and aftermarket barrels for the lower end of the range of markers, much less so at the top end.

I upgraded my SLG with a Un1tec kit from Warped paintball and there is a quite a difference in performance (much more consistant at longer distance). Can't tell you about the Night Stick as I have never had one but the Un1tec's are worth the money.

the iightstick will definatelly be lighter as it is carbon fibre rather than aluminium

the accuracy varies with stock mini barrels, i got a dog **** one with mine but a few of my mates got good ones

so to be honest if it shoots nice then i would keep it cos you are unlikelly to get a colour match with a mini, or even if you try it and don't like it then you can just sell it again.

not very conclusive but some sdvice for you;)

hope this helps

OP mentioned it was a 32 degress NightStick not the Invert Nightstick. The former is aluminium, the latter is carbon fibre.

someone must be real desperate for cash to let his Invert (CF) Nightstick go for only £12 all in!!!

Accuracy depends on a number of things

Firstly, as you very rightly said, quality. This is almost irrelivant nowadays, as all barrels are finished to a high standard. As long as there is a consistent mirror finish on the inside of the barrel, with no scratches or blemishes, then it'll be fine.

Secondly, bore size. Matching the paint size to the bore will no only improve accuracy, but also a minor (a very minor) improvement in efficiency. Barrel kits with a number of bores allow you this option, although many are happy to stick to one bore size (something like a .689, most manufacturers give a .693 with their gats)

Thirdly, paint quality. Accuracy depends most of all on good, round paint. Any inconsistencies in accuracy are usually due to inconsistencies in the shape of your paint
;)

A good barrel (or barrel kit) will most likely be an improvement to a bog standard barrel given on low end markers, but what it's worth to you is up to you. I simply went with a .689 un1tech, and have never had any problems with it

Unfortunately mate, that is also incorrect. The idea of paint to bore match is that there are no gaps around the ball in the barrel. This is because if there is a big hole, for example on the right side, more air will escape down the gap, instead of pushing the ball. Hence, one side will be travelling at a higher speed than the other and a curl effect can be noticed.

Hence why the quality of paint is also important.
