Barrel Adapter

Well, im fed up with my Jt 6.0, when it works its a sweet gun, but thats a rare occurence. Anyways, im looking to upgrade to a GX-4, but I dont want to get rid of my Evil Pipe barrel which is spyder threaded. Lapco makes a spyder to cocker adapter, and I was wondering if there would be a preformance issue, or would it not affect it at all? thanks

im pritty sure that the lapco adapters allow you to use cocker barrels on spyders, not the other way about

Yeah I was just at their site there is a spyder to autococker adapter. Does anyone know if it will affect preformance????

I would imagine there is a slight loss in accuracy but very slight. Because your Pipe is bore orrientated, the lapco barrel adaptor isn't, making the inner breach the standard .689 i would imagine... So you might have the same effect as if you had a stock .689 barrel on.

I think you could get a case where no matter what pipe back you chose, the barrel adaptor would make it useless.

I think if you want another gun, they want your money, otherwise they would rip alot of money from SP etc, by having an adaptor that just coverts barrel backs like the freak back.
