Banzai's - The facts !!

I have wanted to wirte this for a while now but i have been trying to sort other things out. The truth is that sadly the Banzai's have decided to put there barrel condoms on for the last time. The last event the Banzai's played was the 6-Man At Scunny this month (Which they Won). Ledz and Jack decided to leave the team to become part of a new team (at present without a name) made up from pretty much all of the X-Ball team that played in Pittsburgh. The Banzai's were not folded at that point, the remaining Banzai's decided to call it a day after a quite emotional chat on the Snuday after the last game at Campaign. The lads decided it was better to call it a day with the team still on top and still being able to hold it's own against the best, instead of struggling through the next season and not enjoying themselves.

At present all of the current Banzai squad are thinking about there options and not a single one has said they will not play again. Most if not all still have the passion to play and want to play paintball at whatever level they can. (Snap um up now teams, there are some good, very good players without a team at the moment !)

I personaly would like to thank all of the Banzai's for some great times together around the world and i would like to wish them all the best for the future in whatever they choose. I also want to thank the Banzai's for forfilling there committment to judge the Campaign Cup.

Last but not least is a big thanks to everyone that has helped us over the years to make the Banzai's a team to remember. We have tried to play hard, we have tried to play fair and i hope we can walk away from the Banzai's proud of what we have achieved. It is very hard to play in a way that does not always bring you the results you deserve because so many other teams around you play to win at ALL costs !!

I'd like to say that it IS a crying shame that Banzai have split ,
BUT even though we've lost one of the best English teams out there , we are now GAINING what could quite possibly be the BEST English team for the future.
It could n't have been an easy decision for either Ledz or Jack. Much respect , and all the best luck for the new team.


And any ex-Banzai looking for a place to play , Tremmor are on the lookout for good new players. I'm sure we could fit you in somewhere. I know its a bit of a come down , but we're on the way up this year. .

Thank you for the pleasure of your company over the years, one man and team that has always walked around with beaming smiles on there faces, and enjoying the game for what it is
We have enjoyed many games over the years with new teams coming and going
I wish you all the luck with the X ball venture, and wish all the players every success with that and all you wish to do in your lives
