I'm just wondering how many of you, if any, wear any protective gear around your family jewels...

I saw a guy take a shot in the nuts last time I played (it deflected off my elbow, sorry about that old chap!), and I really, really, really don't fancy it. Watching a grown man cry is not much fun.

My playing pants have quite a bit as standard. Sometimes use slide shorts which normally have some sort of protection

been shot there afew times. i find my playing pants have enough padding. at close range i do feel differently. but its a small target so hard to hit

I think I might stick with padded trousers if it's all the same to you mate...

I didn't realise trousers had that in them, pretty obvious really, I suppose...might be worth investing in a pair, to save my pair, as it were...

That's just an excuse so grown men can get away with shaving their legs...

when i normally play in my playing pants, but i aint sure about wearing protective "gear" as my pants got good enough padding, but i have been shot in that area point blank and i was passing blood for a few days, so i just wear a pair of shorts gives me peace of mind, i think a cricket cup would be really awkward to wear.
