Balls Out Promotions in conjunction with the CPPS and its associated sponsors and series suporters are pleased to announce the Saturday Fun Ball 5's.

This will be our entry-level point for rookie/newbie players, and act as a stepping-stone into the CPPS M5 Conference format.

This will be a non-league; non-ranking event where the sole aim is to provide a fun, relaxed format to help get players used to sup air and tournament style paintball.
It is aimed at younger players that play walk-on but want to try tourney ball.
In addition, there is a restriction in that players may not have played more than two tournaments in the last year at a higher grade than the current lowest level. E.g. CPPS conference, 3 man or KOTH events

We will assign teams an experienced player as a coach and guide who will assist them with safety and playing elements and advise them through there games but also help keep it fun.

We will not have any sideline coaching, just a simple elimination and press the buzzer format like our M5 CPPS.

Teams will be allowed 1000 paintballs per match to be split between the five players. They can take three 140 shot pots onto the field, the rest can be divided up between players as they choose. This saves any arguments as different hoppers can carry different amounts.

This also means that with the three boxes of paintballs included in there entry package and playing six matches all there paint is covered and so we can offer a fixed cost event. Any left over paint can be used in some drills or practices after event with the help of the coaches. In addition, with it being in a smaller period, we hope to encourage the parents to stay and support the kids/players and they can see more of what the events are about.

The proposed cost of this will be £160 per team of five, which includes air, 3 boxes of paintballs. Players will have to have there own kit. Rental kit may be available at a later date but that is TBC.

This works out at £32 per player. There are no prizes or any kind of incentive to stay in this format, it is designed as a stepping stone into full tournament play. We will offer offer a package into the CPPS M5 format as an incentive to move upwards for those teams wishing to step up but this is only for the first CPPS M5 event they attend.

We intend to run a leg of this at round two on April 10th, and every sat afternoon preceeding the CPPS on the Sunday.

Start times are looking to do team meeting and talk around 1.30, play will start at 2 o clock and finish at 5.

We will then have the CPPS BBQ and players party after this which all are welcome to come and socialise at.

Any querries please post below, PM or call me on 07977 060 694.

Entered for 10th.
