ahh! i was playing a couple of weeks ago and a was stuck at the front trying to be the hero. and there where a couple of the other team advancing on one was covering me so i was trying to hold them off. and there was 2 barrels infront of me some smart ass fired a shot though the gap (luck @ high rate of fire) and it hit my pants just under me nuts but didnt break i was so luck could have been curtens for me sex life. so i got me thinking how do u protect ur crown jules ? thanks for info

paintball skimmed me, er, trouser snake while i was marshalling the other day, bit of a stinger but scared the crap out of me! usually i hold a spare gun there. not much use when your playin tho! you can get a box

having seen a photo of a nad that had taken a hit im investing in a pair of dye slide shorts and will prob wear a hard box with them (the shorts are padded in 'that' area and have a pocket to take a box)

the nad in the photo looked about the size of a cricket ball and was in a nice black to purple to blue fade and that was AFTER the poor ******* had had a pint of blood drained out of it!

in a separate incident (which i didnt see) a mate of mine, batty (aka hybrid on here) found the perfect cure after getting shot in the old man.......he claims his gf kissed it better! good girl

I went to my local sports store and got a cricket box after receiving 4 sorts to the upper thigh .

You could just go with the thought of all the extra swelling your woman might be very greatful

Especially as I run a sport shop and they only cost £1.99rrp!!

Maybe protection for our testicles should become one of the rules, like the guy says in his article, they are the same consistency as your eyes and we wear goggles. It would make sense but I wouldnt want to be the marshall that had to check

Now if you had Lisa Harvey doing the checking we'd all be wearing them in a flash

Not if you buy a decent jock-strap to go with them, have been wearing a box playing paintball ever since I saw that pic... its just not worth the risk IMHO
