balls at once

Every now and then my cocker will shoot 2-5 balls at once.....gets very annoying, and then i gotta grab a squeegie......im wondering what i can do to stop this? i tried adjustin my reg some, helped a lil, tightened my cocking rod, helped a lil, and for some reason i switched to my boomstick and it helped more as well(i was shootin a freak) im not really sure what it was.....i added some oil to the ram and it moved a lot smoother then....
please help...gotta get it cookin

but i think it might have been the timing so i adjusted it a little, added some oil, and now it is shooting much better, but i was able to find a fault in my bolt, one of the o-rings was about to come off, so it kept getting a little loose, so i am getting that fixed, but if bart or anyone else knows what it might be, please tell me
