Balanced Setup?

Evening all.

I have always thought it to be the norm that when you hold a marker setup by the snatch grip, it tips backwards due to the weight of the tank. After a comment about it when playing yesterday, I now realise that it should be balanced so it remains pretty much horizontal when holding it here.

How would I make it more balanced? I'd really rather not invest in a drop-forward, as the bottle rests perfectly up to my elbow (as demonstrated in Dynasty Dysected) and is most comfortable to hold at this length.

Current setup:

- PM6 with stock frame, 14" barrel, Dye Airport
- Halo with Cranium shells and BONE battery pack
- 1.1l 4500psi Bottle (1.0kg) (LP Crossfire reg)

Comparing each part of the setup, the bottle is the heaviest but wouldn't this normally be the case? (without investing in a Stako).

Any advice is much appreciated.

doesnt need to be balenced at the snatch grip, long as its balenced where the grips are.

i have a PM6 as well (UL framed tho)
Reloader (4 battery pack)
PMi 1.1 4500

its pretty well balenced, and have noticed, since putting a Dye tank cover on it, its getting slightly back heavy. but aslong as it feel comfortable, and isnt front heavy (making you drop your barrel down during game's).

bung some blu-tack in the battery part of the halo/reloader....my setup is perfectly ballances as it but bone packs make a hell of a racket when running,so it stops that too.

add more or take some paintballs out to balance the gun right

it doesn't matter..this is due to how generally light your set-up is ,,as long as you can hold the marker without it riding up when you shoot, which is highly unlikely with modern markers lack of kick it's not an issue...

dont worry about it , you didnt notice till you went looking did you...

you say that the markers only balanced when it sits level and yours drops backwards. who gives a flying fig! if you can shoot fools with it then who cares. sorry if that seems a bit blunt but if it works for you then dont let anyone tell you its wrong ;)
