uhh how do i put this...one of my friends cockers cocking rod was lock tited to the part it screws into....he didnt do it but the place he took it to to get the eblade installed did it..and i was wondering what can he do to get it off...does it involve taking the gun completly apart down to the body and soaking it in hot water to break the bond of locktite then turning it off?

Take off the beaver tail, the cocking rod knob, and the cocking rod bumper, then heat the rod to melt the loc-tite. You don't have to get the rod red hot, but it is going to have to be pretty hot to heat the hammer to loosen it up.
Heat it up, then use vice grips to try and unscrew it. If it still won't come out, heat it again until it does.
