back in the scene and found my hopper doesn't have any umpf. :S

Hi, been out of the scene for a couple of years and it's great to be back! (almost)

I have 2 hoppers here, one is the sound activated empire (b2?) and the other is a pulse loader in an empire shell. when i run the hoppers on a 9V power supply thing they run great with plenty of grunt. however on batteries i can shoot faster with a GRAVITY hopper! i have run them without shells just to make sure theres nothing squeezing the mechanics and adding load. im really stumped on this one. does anyone have any suggestions?

Try the b2 on 6aa batteries.

And the b2 has 6 speed settings, maybe its set on the slowest?

its nothing to do with any speed settings (i dont even know how to change them)
i tried 4 AA's as i only have the 4X cradle and it was much better. i must have brought a bad batch of PP3's. in fact, i just realised that i have the ****test batteries panasonic make. "for low power products"

i feel like an idiot now... ill close the door.

no probs, it will be even faster with a 6aa pack, maplins sell them for £1ish.

thanks dude. ill just be making my own rechargeable lipo pack. the initial cost will be quite high but i wont need to buy batteries ever again.
