How do I get a Avatar under my name i have to get my team mate to it for but i want to it for myself.

... anyone else as confused as me?
To get an avatar you have to go to edit options or whatever and upload a picture which is, correct me if I'm wrong, 75X75 pixels and under a certain size. Is that the answer to the question???
