I have just bought an AutoMag and its bog standard, what consists of a Level 7 upgrade, how much and were from also can i do it myself or do i have to send it away??

1. Get a level 10 kit from AGD. Fit yourself or better still get them to do it. Will dramatically reduce chops.
2. Put it on air, stop you getting cold fingers.
3. Double trigger.
4 and 5 can be done but cheaper to throw it away and buy a different marker.
4. Fit a retro valve, much much faster.

Its not clear - Do you have a Level 7 mag or do you want to upgrade your mag to a level 7?
If you have a Minimag (got a weird elongated body) it will be a level 7. If its a tube with a grip frame then its a bog standard mag, which there are several levels of (you probably know). The only way to find out what level your mag is by looking at the serial number on the side of the valve. You can find out what number means what level by having a look around the forums at www.automags.org .
If you have a mag that is lower than level 7 it should be *alright* but I think you'll have to find a level 7 valve assembly if you want to upgrade it.
Putting a level 10 on a less than Level 7 mag will not upgrade the problems that the level 7 valve solved from earlier versions.

Its a Very early Auto Mag With a very low number 09210 and it dosent look like its had much dun to it plus i wouldent know if it had Lev7 if it bit me in the ass that is why I am asking, how much for Lev 7 kit as all i can find is lev 10 so any one got a spare lev 7 kit about if i need one??
How much you pay for that then? What did it come with? My number is CF04649 and mines level7.

It was `cheap`came with Armson barrel and a Sub Zero anti liquid thing, it did work till i ran out of gas, I dont know if its Lev 7 thats what i want to know what is the difference to standard what am i looking for????
Well, aas I said in my post, my serial number is lower than yours and mine is a level 7. It should be a powerfeed Mag. The feed tube that you put the hopper on, should cross over the body. T the short end of the tube should be a black plug which turns, to cut off the paint supply as a safety measure. Just infront of this is a "window" cut out of the tube.
Have a look at automags.org. click on the Airgun Designs shop icon thing, select new markers then click on the basic mag picture. thats level7.
Cheaper than £160 with all the kit?!

Mine has got the crossover feed so must be a Lev 7, Thanks.
I did not buy this insted of yours, I bought this for the wife before the van died, i was going to buy yours for me but with throwing all my money at the van at the moment i havent any spare cash, am still interested though .
