Automag Eclipse

got an automag (valve faulty i think )

however its got a eclispe main body rail , double trigger, froe grip with barrel bung, rear valve lock and a rear sight rail.

just wondering if they are worth anything?

all in very good condition.

About £40-£50 quid.
Might get more from a woodsballer but I doubt it. Not recommended for tourney use as if it has a double trigger I would imagine the trigger guard has been cut. If so, refs wont like it!
If you had it 15 years ago you may have got £400-£450

looks nice..might keep it if i can buy a new valve and trigger .

Bolt a trigger guard on it, if it doesn't have one and use it.

You may not need a new valve mate. The mag ones were built to last but the teflon O rings were a bit dodgy now and then. Get a spares kit and replace them and see how it goes.

Ps. The ECLIPSE splash anno was a genius invention in the 90's. VERY old school!!!

After a while the plating on the valve pin fails, so have a look at that as well. Give the reg spring stack a oil, change the seals and away you go.
I have my old mag tech video somewhere, i'll dig it out and copy it to dvd for you.

wish I never sold my 2 mags back in the mid 90's. would love a play with them now. I got one a couple months back from lizard but havent tried it yet. Still got my original Airgun Designs patches as well as ones like the preds, NAM, Blackbirds etc. God that takes me back!!

only trouble with the valve is it wasn't looked after and was left for many years.

so i want to replace all the o-rings and eveything else, might be easier to replace the whole lot in one go, plus there are some mags forsale on here,,if they are cheap enough i'll take one to swap
