wondered how long it would be before someone asked about these......ok now where shall we start

assuming you are looking at the same markers i have seen then you are talking about the 05 cockers which have a built in asa and front block, the ram is mounted on the body, the lpr is central and the 3way is also incorporated in the frontblock/body.

they look rather different to other cockers and no entirely in a bad way eather and they offer excellent valve for new players and recballers who are unlikely to want to upgrade much......however wdp have shot themselves in the foot a little i think....the built in 3 way basically cuts down the options available for after market parts....you would not be able to fit an eblade or race to them which once you get past entry level tournies you are pritty much going to need.
in short yes they would be ok for supair BUT they are limited in options for upgrades and you would more than likely be better off with a traditional cocker in the long run

dont forget also that if you imported one for $270 you would end up paying more than that, more like
$270
+ $40 (postage)
+ 17.5% (vat) including the postage
+ 2.5% (import duty)
+ around £6-10 in handleing fees

which would work out at about £220 ish

for around the same amount you could pick up a much better deal on a 2nd hand cocker.....ive even seen ebladed cockers going for around £300 recently........my advice, dont import, do some homework and look at 2nd hand gear.

dont forget before you buy anything buy a GOOD mask.

Very unusual the new line of 'cockers. With everything integrated into the body like that, they're beginning to remind me a litte bit of a streamlined Palmer Blazer. The lowest model retails at only $170, which, no matter what, is really frickin cheap for an autococker (see what can happen when huge companies get involved in paintball?). However, the lack of upgradeability has already been addressed, and I agree completely. Alot of people who buy autocockers are tinker and upgrade junkies, and these obviously don't cater much to that. This presents us with another facet of getting big companies involved in paintball... with no more bolt-on upgrades, consumers are going to be forced to buy a whole new marker when they want to upgrade.
