Autocker valve instalation problem

I was trying to install my new valve and i can't get the hammer to some out. I have screwed the sear lug into the hammer but the hammer can't get past the treads in the back. Am i just stupid and bought a vavle for an autococker that can't have a new vavle or do i have have the back drilled by an airsmith. Any help would be great guys.

so you took the velocity adjuster out and you screwed lug all the way in? Maybe you screwed it to far in? All cockers (that I know of anyway) can take a new valve.

Try unscrewing the sear lug completely

I don't think there is room for it to come all the way out. I have screwed it every way i know how. i just don't think there is enoy room for the hammer to come out.

take it to an air smith, they wont do any drilling, but they will be able to to the install for you.

I take it that you have taken the grip off?

What do you mean by there not being enough room?

It looks to me like there is not enough room for the hammer to get past the threads in the back of the block. I am starting to think that this has to be done by an airsmith.

If it was put in it can be taken out.

Try screwing the cocking rod into the hammer to help move it around and give you leverage to pull it out.

Do you know how to adjust the hammer/sear adjustment?
You probably need to take it to a gun tech unless you know how to time it.

You also need a special valve removal tool that you probably don't have.

Duhhhhhh

I am sorry guys for this rediculous post becasue i finally got it to work. i have tanken countless cockers apart but never a one with the threads in the back. I finally worked it around until it came out. ever cocker i have worked on the bevertail screw held in the hammer and stuff. I guess this is just a newer version and i was always working on older ones. I have successfull installed the valve and am officially running at 200psi. way more effecient. Thanks guys i am a retard sometimes.
