I hope this is allowed to stay as it is the weekend?

http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2796449

In June of this year, 34 year-old Adam Langlais had his life drastically changed forever by an extremely rare brain stem stroke that left him with Locked-In Syndrome.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locked_in_syndrome

Up until that time, Adam enjoyed life. Family and friends have always been of paramount importance to him, and he was a very physical guy.

Adam started playing paintball in 1990, and has been involved in everything from Big Games to playing in the World Cup with Ku, a team from Japan . He participated in the AKA/AGD Day at Fox 4 Paintball. He has always been an active and keen promoter of the sport, and has introduced dozens and dozens if not hundreds of people to paintball.

Until a few weeks ago, he was unable to do ANYTHING other than blink his eyes and move his eyes vertically since the stroke.

He cannot speak. He has a tube directly to his stomach providing nutrition. He has had a tracheostomy. The area where the stroke occurred is the Pons, which controls voluntary muscle movement.

He is still 100% mentally the same guy, just completely trapped inside his own body.

In the past two weeks, he has made some small progress. He can now tap his left index finger, and is able to nod and shake his head for "yes" and "no". He can move his left foot a few inches. Even this much progress is nothing short of a miracle, and is MUCH more than the doctors had given us cause to hope for. In fact, many of the doctors are stunned at his progress, which had been deemed "impossible". So there is hope.

After extensive research, Adam and the family have decided on a stroke rehabilitation facility in Atlanta . Adam lives (and is currently hospitalized) in Massachusetts . While his health insurance will thankfully be covering 80% of his rehab, they will not cover transportation costs. As Adam is unable to embark on a normal commercial flight, he will have to travel to Atlanta by private charter with full-time medical attention. The cost of the one-way flight is $12,000.
I have offered to donate some gear to be autioned off, if the guy wants it I will put the PBN auction link up on here. They are accepting donations of money (paypal link is info@destructivecustoms.com ) & gear to be autioned off to make money.
From the PBN thread, they are about halfway there.

Planet Eclipse (in the US) and some other companies have given gear to be auctioned.

Please give a little guys, this guy was a normal guy, strokes happen every day, my mom recently had a few mini strokes and it was lucky she made a very quick recovery with no noticable after effects aside from some numbness and sometimes forgetting a word. This guy is locked in his own body, barely able to communicate, let alone play paintball.

Thanks in advance

I am putting up an angel & set of J&J barrels to be auctioned, is there anything anyone could add to this to make it a bit more of a bundle? (you could say, if the auction reaches a certain point, you would add a certain piece of kit, etc)

(bottles are not a good plan unless they are dual test as auction is going up in US as well) but anything like gun stands, fluffies etc would be very helpful.

Sorry for my delay in posting, but I have been waiting out a ban.

I have been so moved by the generosity of all the forum users that I will donate a Dynasty Ion.

PM me to let me know where you are going to be at (event-wise) over the next few weeks, and I will get it to you along with the syphon tank I promised you.
