Ok got your attention ...for probably one day only (stocks allowing) Lidl the supermarket are selling car charger units the type for jump starting your car but they have 2 x 12v cigar socket outputs and three small power output sockets (for laptops etc) plus of course the leads to jump start your car all for a miserly £19.99. These units go on sale today (thursday) for a week but they won't stay on the shelfs for long. I don't work for them but thought I would tell a few people about them , cos you know someone is gonna say later on "oh guess what I got", well at least this way you stand a chance of getting your own.

Cheers Mark,

Just got mine... for anyone out there who doubts, this thing works and is very handy, even for those who can leave their Angel in a car over night (you mad people) or those tech heads who can make mains chargers, this thing has it's own battery pack and so you can take it anywhere... Charge your and your mates angel in the safe zone! (it looks better than a car battery too!)

Cheers Mark and Thank you Lidl (their Microwave hamburgers are good too!)

Just take alook on how many Milliampere these things release! If it's too less you can damage your batteries.

Yep they are good, even power your laptop if you have a race gun grip so it has loads of other uses, did you discover that the bottom slides out to make it a little more stable when sitting wherever?
Oh BTW bit of a **** but they don't have the leads for car battery starting but that is pennies extra, I thought it did cos of the picture in the flyer leaflet, but I do have one of those that is designed for jump starting as well, this unit will charge your car battery if left connected to the battery for 20 mins so it will save you from being stranded at a paintball field.

Yeh I noticed that bit at the bottom, I was just going to use it for putting some crisps in when having a bevvie at a tourney ;)

I did see the leads on the photo and thought it was a bit cheeky that they didn't come with it... but such is the way of things... now I can charge my mobile phone (from the car adapter) and my angel while in the middle of no-where without a car!... It's a kind of 'Swiss Army' Battery unit, all it is miissing is somewhere to keep my pint! ;)

cheers for the tip Mark.. you da man!

You know I have no clue as to what you are talking about Mark. Is it a Wall Unit Charger that is 12v for my Angel? Or is it some kinda of 12v dealy for the car? Besides that you have to be sure it is for Ni-Cad or the NEW none memory version. $hit I can't remember the name but they we offered in 2K1s and above.

It is basically a portable battery with 2 x 12v outputs (to plug your Angel charger unit in) and 3 smaller outputs 3v, 6v, 9v you charge the unit from a wall socket then plug in whatever you need to (can't charge the unit and charge something else at the same time though) and yes it does comply with the Angel reqd input voltages...it doesn't matter what you are hooking it up to, ni-cad or ni-mh cos the unit acts as a car cigarette socket. the bonus of this unit is that you don't have to leave your Angel in your car overnight and at the price they are it is a no brainer
