I need the help of you Angel owning season'd professionals. I don't remember where or when I heard this but is it true that you need to turn the Dwell either up or down using intellifeed v.s. using a 12v Revy? I was chopping more paint than the butcher chops meat in his shop! Any insight is welcomed. Please keep it civil I am asking to learn not to argue. Also any tuning tips would be much appreciated! Post here or e-mail thero0ster@yahoo.com

Problem with the intellifeed is that it turns the paddles slower than the two batteries do. Therefore you run a bigger risk of inconsistent ballfeeding, causing you to (potentially) chop a lot more. I've got an intellifeed installed, but I haven't adapted my hopper yet, because I heard that there's a way to fix it so that you still need the batteries, giving you the speed of 12 volts, but the eye is negated and the paddles are activated by the marker.

Anybody know more about this? If so, please tell us, since that's what I'd like to have.......

I have just bought an intelifeed upgrade and havent chopped a ball with it yet...

Are you chopping only when you are shooting very fast?
Do you have a hi rise feed?

About using an intelifeed with the batteries, there is a website somewhere (ill have to find the link) where you attach the intelifeed to the motor aswell as the circuitry from the eye.
This means that you get:
5.3V when the Angel detects you have pulled the trigger.
14.3V or 17.3V when the eye detects the absence of paint.
this also allows the hopper to function normally on a marker without intelifeed and if you have no batteries it will work only on the intelifeed although the voltage from the intelifeed is now only 5.3V because there needs to be a diode to protect the angel from the 9 or 12v from the hopper

I think what you are thinking about is an power amplifier circuit which uses the 6V from the angel as a signal to switch the 12v from the batteries

this is what i was going to do but i couldnt identify the voltage regulator components from the revvys board so ive just soldered the hopper for the moment untill i can make up a good circuit

rooster, about those stainless steel hammers. I know because they're made of steel and not brass they dont wear down as fast etc but your actually better off with the factory brass one.
You see my gun went down at campaign cup so i took it over to the wdp stand to get it fixed, rocky from lanche fixed mine and i mentioned about the stainless hammer.
He basically said that they're a waste of time because over a long period the hammer gets quite a beating and by having a hammer made of a softer metal (brass) your actually less likely to get leaks than if youve got steel hammer, no bull, hes 1 of the best techs out there so i took his word for it :) :)
