Atom6 balls

So while browsing the net I came across Atom6 balls indigogo page. I know they have a post on pbnation but nothing here so thought id pop a post mentioning them. They look like a great alternative to reballs. No impact damage by the looks of it which makes them great for indoor use. They do have a reduction in range as does reball but thats expected when they are softer and hollow. What are peoples thoughts on these?

I don't get it.. if it's soft and squishy it'll get stuck in the hoppers when being fed and if it's a harder less squishy material won't they will crack after a few uses. I want to hold it

Irrespective of how well they work, there would be the issue of legality here

Reballs have always been used here ignoring what was the grey area of how they would be treated in law, as though rubber they aren't frangible.

In recent years we have had one2one rounds which were imported for a short while and stopped, plus first strike which seemed ok until they gained popularity and their frangibility was questioned.
This was handled by Tiny with approved testing at about £3000. That cleared first strike alongside paintball, but also made it clear that they are the only 2 approved projectiles.

I did wonder this myself given the nature of force fed hoppers and the parts inside them. I could see them being caught inside and jamming. Id assume for training use you would use a gravity fed hopper.

Of course due to them not breaking apart. I wonder how they would be viewed considering they are squishy and thus must absorb a lot of the impact themselves. But that would be down to the UKPFS making a decision on them as in that respect they are unique when compared to other non-paintball projectiles that a paintball marker is capable of firing.
