I have a question about my asa on off. I hooked my air supply up to it and i heard a leak. I think i know where its coming from beacause there is a spot where you can adjust with an allen wrench could that be the spot?

Ok, I bought this drop forward with an on off thing so i can screw my bottle into. On the bottle adapter air is leaking from like this screw i tightened all the way , but it still leaks.

Burst disk and valve have nothing to do with his ASA. Burst disk is on the tank, and valve (depending on which one you're talking about) is on his tank or in his marker.

He is talking about a leak in the on/off of his ASA (from what I gather, he has an asa with an on/off screw. In this setup, a screw in the front of the ASA screws into the pin valve on the tank to gas the marker up. If I'm wrong in my assessment, than you may ignore the following). The screw on the front of your ASA may need a little teflon tape or loctite to keep air from leaking out of it. Take the screw out and put either some liquid thread sealant (such as loctite) or teflon tape on it. Put your tank back on the ASA and screw the screw back in. If air still leaks out, get a new screw. If that doesn't work, you're SOL I guess.

I had this with my CP on/off ASA, the blanking nut that screws into the side your not putting the elbow on was leaking like a biatch. Tried loctiting it in but was not getting a good enough seal. In the end had to use teflon tape on it like the guy suggested above. Make sure that you put the teflon tape on the thing though so it gets tightened to the thread, not so it all gets pushed back out the top of the fitting (like I did the first time around :) ).

Also with mine when I use the on/off I have to screw it in so far to get the air on, if I screw it in too far so that the pin valve is depressed, too far and air just vents out of the front end of the ASA.

Hope that helps
