Couple of small changes from Arrows 2 Alpha base respawn point has now been moved back into the Jungle field, and a new route made directly from the Air fill stations. The transfer time from safe zone to the base is 45 secs by shanks's pony (foot).

We also have a new safe area attached to the car park so there will be ample seating available.

ARROWS IN THE WIND 3. - 30th of AUGUST 2009

http://hostileintentions.org/?page_id=9

Paintball Extremes and Hostile Intentions legendary WHOLE SITE SCENARIO PAINTBALL DAY is on again.

This summers Arrows In the wind promises to be the best yet with an expanded playing area, New Alpha HQ, more barricades and two new game scenarios.

It is 1951 the UN reinforced South Korean forces are reeling back after the devastating loss of Seoul. Realising the Chinese supported North Korean army are at the full extension of their supply line the US commander Lieutenant-General Ridgeway plans an ambitious counter offensive: operation “round-up” starting with reconnaissance missions.

Recruiting the “Hostile Intentions” GREEN berets coupled with elite South Korean soldiers they plan a daring night parachute drop deep in the enemy occupied Hoengsong. The mission dubbed “arrows in the wind” would be one of the most notorious in the war. Their objective was simple collect Intel regarding the North Korean supply lines and numbers of reinforcements, disrupt enemy supply lines and destroy ammunition dumps and then get out. What they encountered was far more important than they could have imagined.

While it was no secret this Korean “civil” war was really a proxy war with the north being supplied by communist China and the south supported by UN but mostly US forces. The USSR’s involvement was a covert operation which if discovered could turn the cold war into a very real all in super power conflict.

Russian General Chuckski has been operating in the Hoengsong province distributing Russian weapons and ammunition but most notably co-ordinating the use of Russian mobile missile units and attacks made by Russain piloted jet fighters against the air superior US forces.

General Chuckski is furious to discover the arrows in the wind mission have compromised his operations. He quickly orders to both the North Korean Army and his own BLACK legion Russian special forces to swarm the area to eliminate Hostile intentions and their South Korean cohorts before they can cause any damage or return with incriminating evidence of Russian involvement in the war.

new Alpha and more cover

GUYS,

Visited the site Yesterday for the first time since Chuck made all the changes. I have to say it is really impressive. Chuck has cut a new entrance from the air stations through to the back of the trenches field providing a considerable short cut to Alpha HQ. SO inspite of the fact Alpha HQ has been moved back into the wood/jungle field it is now actually closer to the main Safe zone than it was before.

Aside from that the cover they are building is pretty impressive and there will be lots of it. The success of previous ARROWs has been in our placement of extra cover. We walk the site thinking how would get from here to here, how would you defend this flag post, how would you assault this flag post and then we alter the cover accordingly. Ensures there will be no impassable no mans lands where the battle will be fort all day, boring. Instead teams are constantly push through, and creating angles. Last ARROWs in one game both teams managed to take all 5 of the flag posts each, the tide of battle can change that much, it certainly keeps you on your toes and makes the play unbelieveably exciting. Of course this ARROWS is going to be no exception in fact it is going to be even better with CHuck and Andys new wooden barracades.

Only 3 weeks to go, tickets are going fast.

Actually paid my 1st visit to paintball extreme last weekend, so may have met a few of you guys if you work there. The whole group had an awesome day and were hoping to book another day soon and possibly make it a regular thing. Read about Arrows 3 on the site and it does sound like a great time but i dont really have enough experience or equipmwnt to attend unfortunately.
