ok, so i have an air america armageddon 4500 reg and bottle on my cocker.

which is all fine and dandy. the reg is the older style, with the grooves cut in it (hope this makes sense).

basically i was thinking i could just get another reg like this to go on my new speed and just swap over the bottle.

however do i need to buy an *identical* reg to this, or will the new armageddon work - or any other regulators for that manner. i want to keep the geddon and just use the air bottle that is with it on more than one gun...

this way i can save having to get a whole new air system - after all i can only shoot one gun at once

cheers

Ian

You just need another armageddon reg, either old or new
The arm valve fitted on the bottle is basically the same for both

Dude, you can buy complete air system for like £100.00

At least this way you can change between markers quickly if you have to. After all, if your at an event that doesn't supply Air, then you'll be killing your dive tanks emptying it and then swapping bottles, then filling again, and so on.

I have three markers, each with their own air system. It just makes more sense that way.

It's like having two cars, with only one set of wheels........

With the geddon you do not need to degas the bottle to swap
Just degas the marker, by unscrewing the grub screw in the front.
That also closes the Arm valve, allowing you to remove bottle and valve and putting it on next marker

yeah, the geddon doesnt need to be de-gassed, you can remove the bottle full if needs be, so no worries there.

Just looking for a second geddon now :)
Plus, I'd rather have my guns runiing double regulated, than just a preset system. Plus, I dont have £100!

Sorry, I was going by what le pig had said. Reads to me like he has two regs and only one bottle.

I had a geddon so I know abut the ARM valve. What I was unsure of is that Dark has said to unscrew the grub at the front. I thought that was what set the output pressure of the geddon??? The guages on the geddon aren't that accurate so you wouldn't want to have to set it each time. Just unscrew the bottle a bit.
