OK, got a team mate with a gedden, Once gassed up and left, the output pressue to the marker starts to climb up, and the adjusting nut at the front sticks right out.
Once he fires it, it seems to reset to the correct output pressure, but again when you leave it, it starts to creep up again, until you fire again.

I have not had one to bits, so dont know how to help.

Whats the problem, and how do we fix it??

Cheers.

Is it the type with the seperate input section, if so undo the black collar (make sure the bottle is degassed) and you will find a flat seal, about 10mm in dia and 3mm thick. The face of this seal is damaged, you can try turning it around, but it should be replaced.

EDIT...... give me a ring if you need anymore help. 07773 364246

I think the seal is the same as the automag reg seal, at least it looks similar. It's easy to tell if it's that, by gassing up the bottle, and with the front section removed, put your thumb over the end of the opening and see if the air builds up and blows past your thumb.

Good info Eric. Gary when you download the manual, on page 4 you will see the exploded view of both sections of the reg. The upper section is the bit to look at, and the seat seal is the item that will probably need to be replaced.

Its a simple problem, it happened to me only a few weeks ago. ON the bottle adapter - unscrew the top part with a 2p piece, and flip over the seal.
