Just wondered what the record (shortest and longest) time it's taken anyone to disassemble and reassemble their Halo?? Last time i did a full strip/reassemble in 20 mins... today, just fitting a new lid spring took me ONE AND A HALF HOURS! Grrrrrrr
Problems.. wires got in the way when reassembling...board contacts came out as i slid the side on..board got jammed at an angle in its slot... on/off button kept falling out... nuts kept losing themselves...(honest!)...rear of l.e.d. wouldn't slide past component on board, lid spring and pin wouldnt cooperate when all the other bits were in place... I very nearly threw it at my wall when i realised i'd eventually assembled it and found the on/off button on my bed... only the fact that im playing tomorrow stopped me....
Ah! i feel so much better now i've had a rant!
