so whats going on with what used to be the best barrel to own?.

do they lack compared to newer barrels?, or are they still up with the best?

ive recently seen them on the dye website for like 80 quid?
so am i just assuming they are still amazing barrels?
the theory is they are better than ULs but they weight more. SS is hard to damage and has lass friction than aluminium.

also you can't anno SS so alot of ballers prefer the UL an swear by them.

To be fair, you'll probably won't notice the difference.
Accuracy mainly down to the quality of the paint.

Personally I think the ULs look the best and can be annoed to match your toy, but that's only aesthetic.

EDIT: I assume you're using an Ego or simular open bolt marker. If you're using a 'cocker then barrel/paint match can play a larger part in performance.

my ul's seem to perform as well as my boomies ever did- also it's easier to buy the backs second hand and therefore build a bore kit yourself.

I'd buy a UL, but anything DYE or proto is a safe choice ;)

Any big bore, 2 piece, light barrel with decent porting and a good finish on the inside is fine. Cover all those and the only difference is brand label.

Dye have changed the mix of metals in the ti boomstick and new versions shouldn't spark.
