are barrel bungs a no no?

read something about barrel bungs being unsafe and it may be
a new rule againt em.

it said they were unsfafe and only barrel condoms were allowed

if u shoot a barrel bung once, it can come out, which is obviously dangerous as if u fire again it could hit someone, if a barrel condom is properly made it will stay fast for lots of shots

Not all barrel condoms are "shot safe" you need to make sure yours is tbh.

dude do you relise how dangerous barrel bungs are,i've seen regular players use them and they fall out on there own whilst they are walkin along.there should be a rule stating barrel condoms only

a decent bung should not blow out,but there only as good as the sealing rings,bags are safer

IMHO the Twist-Lock style Barrel-Bungs are far superior to either conventional bungs or barrel-bags

I've seen bungs shot-out and holes shot in bags but neither can happen with a twist-lock. The only problem I ever had was tightening it too much and having to get somebody to help me take it off again!

As long as you remember to twist-it there's nothing safer

eaven if it is a decent bung it still has a higher risk factor
than a condom.

I hate the damn things, they either fall straight out of the barrel the second you put them in or you need to host a Strongman compettion to get them out.
and it they fall out / get shot out by accident they are not doing their jobs - Protecting peoples Eyesight, which most of the safety regs in paintball are for in 1 way or another.
