when will marshalls really get on top of players using foul language at events, with women and kids present as well as media, teams, and only teams from the USA are using words and phrases that should have no place in our game.

get him f****** outta there
F*** you
F**** him out, etc etc etc, top teams from the states are constantly using phrases like these all the team and no one is keeping them in line.

to play professional, you have to act professional, guys you might love this talk in the states, but when you come to europe, respect our game and culture and leave that abusive language at home

Hmmmmm

Good point (?)

BUT, I'm sure I've seen on tv one or two PROFESSIONAL footballers swearing at other players and refs.

In the heat of the moment it's real hard to stop yourself from doing or saying things that are part of your game.

Aint adrenalin a f***in bitch to control.

Swearing goes on in a lot of sports. Ever heard what is said on an American Football field? Not nice...
Problem with paintball is that the way it is now, the spectators are really close to the field, closer than in any other sport that I can think of. Therefore this type of behavior is noticed a lot more, but I won't for one minute believe that there's more cussing in paintball than in other sports....

your right, there is probably loads more swearing in other sports, so what, does that make it ok in paintball cause they swear 15% of the time rather than 75% also in soccer if you curse at the ref, you can be red carded.

All I can say is get used to it bro. Being an American playing in the U.K., I guarentee you I have heard just as many foul words come out of the brits mouths as the yanks. Also, most of the bad language not only comes out of the pros mouths, but the novice and am teams as well. I assure you it is the same across all the ranks. It does suck that the words come out, but it is an adrenaline sport and sometimes you say things without thinking. That is just the way it is.:(

I never said it was right, and I never will. I actually got mad at one of my teammates for using the F word during one of the games. I won't have it on my team.
On th eother hand, how often do you see someone get redcarded for calling the ref all sorts of nasty stuff? Hardly ever. As in paintball I think that it wouldn't hurt for soccer refs to be more strict with these rules.
All I meant with my previous post is that this sort of behavior is even more visible in paintball than it is in other sports.

It's also easier to hear someone swear when they're surrounded by 1000 people than it is when surrounded by 50, 000 people who, by the way, are all usually singing songs that contain all kinds of baddass language in 'em.
