Firstly I would like to apologise to all who either played, helped or sponsored the recent over 35's event. I have been unable to access the forums due to technical problems and have had to re register to solve the issue. I would have posted this information earlier but --- I am technically cr~p on a computer!!

Thank you to all who helped at the recent event

Nick and the Skirmish crew for the site
The excellent Phoenix players and guests who marshalled the event
Nick and his catering staff.

Rob and Nev the raffle ticket sellers

If I have missed someone - sorry

Of course all the 50 players who played the events.

The bottom line

Current total is around £2500 with a bit of cash to come in from entries, paint sales and the raffle etc... There will be an auction and raffle at the Series 2004 presentatiojns so hopefully this should help top the £3000 mark. I will let you knopw wher the money goes once it is all in the pot!!

Next Year ---- The suggestion is August Bank Holiday MONDAY - 29 August.

Is this OK with you "older" players - it should be warmer

:D Well done everybody who supported and attended the event. Big thumbs up to Steve for all his hard work. It was bitterly cold on saturday, but we still had 50 ish players turn up. I suggested to Bully that we held next years event during the summer, perhaps a bank holiday ! that way us old ones wont feel the cold so much.

We need to run the event when my site is quiet, hence the suggestion of a bank holiday, or we could allways do it midweek !
Friday before an event would be good, All the fields would be set and everthing will be ready for the weekend.

Your thoughts please:D
