Spy TV seeks targets in the UK

'Spy TV', Endemol USA's hidden camera show, is going to the UK next year. Endemol UK will produce a local version of the format. BBC One will air the programme around January or February 2003.

BBC Entertainment has commissioned Endemol UK for six 30-minute episodes, which will be presented by Ian Wright. Each week, members of the public get the chance to trick their loved ones into wittely original set-ups, uncomfortable situations and moral dilemmas. In addition, random hit-and-run comedy stunts are visited on unsuspecting passers-by in the street.

A couple of years ago I had pneumonia and had to take a cocktail of different drugs for a while, I'm sure one of them was called "Endemol". They made me feel sick all the time, could there be a conection?

Well the poor bugger that got stiched up was me

The show is a candid camera type thing and was very well done, I am a cynical bugger and dont believe a thing but they still had me going in points, Kinda lost the plot when they brought a huge butch bloke in a yellow dress and blonde wig in for me to chat up!

Needless to say i refused (not so keen on blondes), but am sure by the time they edit it i will be made to look a right prat

But there was filming of paintball and loads of references to tournament paintball etc etc etc, so i just hope they get plenty of that in there along with me being suckered in to the set up

Basically they set me up to believe that HM secret services were recruiting and were looking at ballers, Kinda got me suspicious from that point really, But they knew EVERYTHING about me which was scary, what i drove, smoked etc etc etc.

Had me do a few tests such as eye test and stuff. But i was great fun when i had to beat up this manekin thing

Anyways i kinda smelt a rat thru it, but played along for fun and just refused to do the really stupid stuff, and then Ian wright came in with a huge camera and did interview and stuff.

Was a blinding day as i got to shoot punters for a hour before the set up (havent duck hunted for ages) and the set up was superbly done.
