APG Mag Sucks @$$

I was just wondering for you guys the subscribe to PGI... Does their mag dedicate all their adverts to Spyders and a lot of other low end markers? What about the quality of coverage? Do they cater only to the Newer players? I love to learn but APG (Action Pursuit Games) really caters to the newbie! If I am wasting my money please let me know. I will have to sign up for PGI! I want non-biased opinions please!

OK, here's what I figured out. Of course every mag is going to have their Kingman and Tippman advertisements, they represent big spenders willing to give money to the production of the magazine. What sets PGI apart is the quality of coverage, especially regarding the tournament scene. Where APG caters to newbies, PGI caters to those that are already involved in the sport on deeper level. After buying plenty of other magazines, such as Paintball Magazine and APG, I have finally found PGI. Since I have yet to enter the world of major tournaments, I do not recognize most of name sor their accomplishments( Pete who?). Avid readers of the other mentioned magazines will find themselves lost when first reading about the tournaments. However, after a few issues of PGI you will find yourself in the loop. Consider this an unbiased opinion, since I just recently subscribed to PGI. It's a good mag- no BS.

Did I mention it's funny as hell?

Kewl Kewl Inferno that is the kind of information I was looking for! I will send off for my subscription right away! Since I am in the UK I get a break on the price!

Yeah, most other mags just give you either boring accounts of tourneys, or just downright crap. Also a lot of gear reviews are really biased, because they don't want to piss off any of their endorsements.
One mag that looks the mutt's nuts is Facefull, but after having read a few issues, I have to say that the content is WACK!!!!
It's got some nice pics, but the reviews are all the same, everything is cool, so either these guys are easy to please, or they don't want to piss off the people that send them free stuff.
PGI so far has been pretty much straight up and honest in their reviews and coverage. If a team plays like ****, or if a new piece of gear is ****, they'll te'' ya it's ****. Also, a lot of stuff that's in there is plain funny.
There's a reason all the big names ocasionally write for tha Antman you know........

No not yet! I'll have to look back at the date cause they said 4 weeks before I will get my 1st one!

Just looked and I should get my 1st issue in Feb.! Hope I didn't waste my money. **** I have wasted more on drinking so atleast I will have something to read on the POT!
