use mine on an sp8 (via a UMS adaptor for an AA barrel front).
i find it has best compromise at 4 clicks out - a little bit more range, little less accuracy, but best effect is that it flattens the trajectory making it easier to pin a target at midrange.
beyond 4 clicks it gives you further range, but the backspin causes a dip in the trajectory immediately after the ball leaves the barrel before it rises which can make it more difficult to hit things - plus you lose a great deal of accuracy. also if you extend the range too far, you'll just bounce unless you hit something pretty hard (mask/pod/marker/bottle etc)
