Apex Barrel, what do you need?

Yo,

The Apex attachment, what do you actually need to use it? do you just need to buy this in the correct thread?

Or is that simply a front? I've just watched TechPB's apex barrel video and it's confused me even more than before, because he's talking about apex ready barrels and some other jazz, maybe I am over thinking this

Basically, If I've got a cocker threaded marker, what would I need to get to use an apex barrel attachment on it? Links would help

The BT Apex Barrel system you linked to is the whole barrel and Apex.

an Apex ready barrel is a barrel that you can buy the Apex top separately for and it will fit over the end without an adapter.

Buying an Apex ready barrel and the Apex tip is probably the best option because the Apex stock barrel sucks.

You can get a rather lovely RAP4 barrel with a threaded Apex tip for ~£60 and even if the RAP4 barrel isn't top end, its still better than the BT one (but i can assure you, i've heard alot of good things about the RAP4 rifled barrels)

I'm not really a fan of RAP4, BZ have some Apex Ready Lapco barrels which I'll give a try now I know what the hell it all means, thanks.
