Passmores was my secondary school, so be interested to hear your thoughts on the show, for what its worth Mr Drew was one of my old teachers, and i can honestly say that's how he is in real life, 99% of what you just saw was him behaving just as he did about 5 years ago when i was there and not playing to the camera!

Massive massive respect to him....

"Passmores" has actually moved to a brand new school building down the road from me, they are boarding up the old one which the show was filmed at as we speak, its now one of those academy, must admit the new building looks very impressive...

Mr Drew is one patient man. Charlotte is a scumbag, who will be pregnant at 17 and just another lost into the system. Which is just par for the course nowadays. Makes me appreciate the behaviour of the kids where I teach. I think we have maybe one pupil like her in our whole school.

On the whole Passmores isnt that bad a school, i have read a few reviews of the show that give it a positive light, going to find the daily mail drivel now!!

We had a few people in my year like maybe 4/5, who were pretty much beyond "saving" if thats the right term to use, meh, i still have a lot of respect for him and how hard he tries...Personally i thought Carmelita was worse with her accusation of assault, then getting called up on by the head and being found to be a compulsive liar, hope her and her parents watched it last night and are suitably ashamed....

Drew came paintballing with me once to, what a laugh that day was...

I've just started watching it, but remembered this thread so decided i'd dig it up, its on 4oD and it really makes me think about what the teachers had to go through when I was in school. I was, for lack of a better word, a little ****.

But the series is a great watch! if only we had more teachers like Mr. Drew (or how he comes across in this series)
