The chance of finding a team wanting to play NPPL next year are slim to nil (living in UK anyways) So are there six other guys out there wanting to play the new series:confused:

Obviously it's alot of money but will be well worth it. Not bothered what level, just want to play the Series.

Burb, Simon (Malone) did say it is gonna be expensive

Think about it a "scratch team" wants sponsorship...sure someone will help to some degree as you are proposing to do the whole series and are english (not enough do more than a couple of events, my own team included)

Break it down 5 transatlantic flights very rough average of say £275 some will be dirt cheap some not, motel rooms (B&B is an alien concept in the states) transport to each event cos the cheaper rooms aren't gonna be close to the sites, entry, oh and that small matter of paint
So all in all approx £3500+ also the time off from work/college, of course fully sponsored is gonna be great I'd love to do it, who wouldn't.

BTW the figures are all very rough but close enough to show what you would be letting yourself in for if no one stepped up to help with the costs

To Simon Malone not being negative but you will get a lot of posts saying yeah I'll do it etc and then when they realise the costs will pull out

Mark, thanks for your input. I'm aware of the costs, did the sums myself a few weeks back now. However it is something i'd REALLY like to do.

Fully sponsored is in reality never going to happen, but as you say someone somewhere would be willing to help out to some degree.

I was guessing that many people would say "yeah, lets do it". I'm just hoping that there are 6 other people out there also wanting to play in America, and are aware of the costs:(

Thanks:)

I'm aware of the costs. I already play in the USA fairly regularly.

As long as you don't get too shafted on flights it's similar to playing in Europe (can be cheaper!) since hotels are not so expensive (you can share more in one room) and food and fuel is cheaper.
