If you don't get something sorted before the day come along anyway bringing all your kit and introduce yourself to me (I'll be at the admin table in the marquee). If teams are short of players on the day or odd players turn up in need of a game they usually see me and I try to match them up - gotta be simpler than wandering around asking loads of people.
