anyone in the county durham area?

Hi everyone, just to say hi really, ive looked around the site and am impressed by how organised it is.
my m8 and i are looking to get into pballing up in the north east/ county durham area and were wondering if anyone on here is from around the area?
the next thing is my m8 has a farm and is willing to let people cum up and practise wether its groups/ individuals or wateva long as you have your own setup and paint and are willing to help put the stuff away when we are done the land is a mixture of fields and woodland (quite thick in places) and he will charge 4pound each per full day for as many games as you can play (this is to cover the cost of the hay bails that will be used for bunkers etc) if this sounds ok to you get in touch and we'l try to organise something

Before you try and organise something like that make sure to read up on the law regarding such sites. I believe there is a minimum distance the site can be from a public road, for example. You'd also need several dive tanks (or similiar) to provide an air supply for the day.

i dont know about that? but theres well over 2000 acres most of which are no where near roads m8 and to be honest itl be a case of whoever wants to practise can. long as they bring their own gear a team (for example) could turn up set up what they want practise all day if they have enuff air co2 etc etc then long as they pack up after they are done go home he said the fields are there if theres any intrest but if the hay is too be used for baracades then he'd charge the 3 or 4 quid.

i did not mean to make it sound like he was starting up his own place (appologies)it was an idea we came up with for a bit of practise hope this helps clear it up..

Although it sounds easy enough saying "Whoever comes up can" But still if someone injures their self whiles playing on your mates land , you mates father is liable..

But i must say i reckon if you worked it all out , could be a nice little site, got enough land thats for sure

im from teesside university's team, we all ways about middlesbrough and places, we play at ontarget in guisbrough, and scotchcorner, and enter the inter uni and going for bigger ones this year

wow so there are just a few teams around the area then lol well when i get maself sorted il be in contact with a few peeps off here to see if i can tag along perhaps,

i have spoke to my m8 and he's going to look into public liability insurance and stuff (he's loaded, says he ent but i ent ever met a skint farmer have you? lol)
i was looking around the areas on which he'l be able to play and where we play at the moment and they are good now but could be alot better the woodsball should be really good,
depending upon how you set out the speedball side of the game then there is some really really good areas
hey if any one wants to contribute (not money lol suggestions) to this idea, i really think he will go for it as he's pball mad i know there will be as much bad as good but thats opinions for you they are like aholes everyone has one and they are usually full of sh** lol cheers guys

Your in Durham and a few teams around, hell there are loads of them ! Find loads of them at the Ionman events and get to know everyoine ! Www.ionman.co.uk just up the road from you !
