Anyone help?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and wonder if anyone can help...

I've been playing paintball for apx 12 years on and off. Only played rec ball, but I've recently bought my own stuff and am now looking to take paintball further.

Does anyone know of any walk-on days or similar near to Great Yarmouth, Norfolk? I'm also quite interested in joining a team, but don't know where to start. I'm 28yrs old if people need to know in respect of age restrictions into teams etc and I would want to look for a more mature team if poss.

I usually play pb at Foxwood Skirmish, Norfolk, but don't seem to see any walk on days planned on their forums.

If anyone can help let me know.

Foxwood Skirmish do walk on days- they are just a bit poor at getting them on t'web but a few of us are working to sort this out. In the mean time give them a ring and speak to Mike Mason- they send out a mailshot before each walk on day and the next one is on the 31st July if I remember rightly. I will probably be there so look for blonde tubby types and say hello.

Thanks for your reply olly. I'll be sure to ring Mike and get the info sent to me. Hopefully work permitting I can make the 31st.

Local Teams

I don't think there are any in your region since the Norwich Sinners disbanded, have an academy team player join us from that way.

Lincoln or our selves are probably your nearest teams, oh and age does not matter, just aptitude and a modicum of ability.

Thanks to those that posted with advice. I will be at the walk-on day at Foxwood on the 31st this month and hope to see people there and have a great day.

I'll ask for the advice on teams/events etc when I'm there as I think this'll be the best way to get the lowdown etc.
