Paintball facts

I'm sure he may have better things to do, but he is always willing to help people out, so ask Bully at UKPSF. He might even have all the details on line.:)

Get in contact with the main Customs office, they have freely avaible info on the amount of taxes charged for goods brought into the county. So every time Planet or any other Paintball shop gets a shippment in from the US or another country it is logged. If you tell them what it's for and ask very nicely they should be able to give you a couple of years worth of data.

They won't be able to release that info, for two reasons.
1. The amounts paid by individual companies and dealers will be protected by the data protection act.
2. They will not have a clue how much is for paintball items. The reason for this is paintball equipment does not fall into any set catagory for tax rates.
It cannot be imported as sporting goods, and i know that some of the clothing will often get taxed as "fashion clothing".
