OK
Been away for a bit, work is a pain.....thinking about buying a Stiffi mamba kit from those lads at LiPS who have become a dealer/distributor for them, has anyone had any problems with them or are they as good as they look?

Think it depends on the marker you want it for.

I bought a set for my cocker and found it useless, the breach sizers are only 25mm or so long so even when the paint was matched half the balls fell straight out the end.

Had a little go with it on my ego and it seems to shoot great but i've not actually played with it just shot a couple of hoppers to see how it goes.

The porting on the mamber kits is just holes drilled like a normal ported barrel not the slots that are on the normal stiffi so to me it doesn't seem much quieter than a normal alloy barrel.

Guess what i'm saying is for an open bolt gat just buy a 1 piece stiffi and for a cocker consider a different barrel kit.
I bought a deadlywind carbon fibre barrel for my cocker, they take freak inserts so are much better for closed bolt gats, as light as a stiffi but the porting is tiny so it's a bit noisy.

After using Stiffi barrels on my Speed 05 I fell in love with them. Shoot very well even through barrel brakes.

So impressed I have just placed an order with LiPS for the mamba kit….

(Nice one LiPS for going that extra step with customer service)

have used Freak kits before,
but just got my switch kit from stiffi a few weeks ago for my G7 Fly.
Gotta say stiffi are quality, and light, i mean paper weight..
Look down the inside of the barrel, and its like glass.
I used some old crappy paint and had a few barrel breaks, just shoot a few shots through them to clear it out with no problems.
Even shoots straight without the barrel on(just using the sizing breach).
If u have a few guns, then just use the 1 barrel and purchase the different breaches.
